An ocean engineer, software engineer, aquanaut, environmental and energy journalist, Peggy Lucas Bond received a BE in electrical engineer from Villanova University and a Masters of Ocean Engineering from University of Delaware. She was the Assistant Scientific Coordinator for the Tektite II project and Chief Engineer/Aquanaut on the Mission 6 women's team. She worked as a Marine Resource Specialist at University of Hawaii, Professor of Computer Sciences at the American University of Paris and reporter for The Financial Times business publications covering energy, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology issue from France. She has been active in efforts to protect marine and land environments worldwide.
