Meghan O’Hara (US) is a documentary filmmaker and Assistant Professor of Documentary Filmmaking at California State University Monterey Bay. Her recent feature-length documentary, IN COUNTRY premiered at Hot Docs, Full Frame and CPH:DOX, earning rave reviews in TIME, Salon, The Atlantic. O’Hara’s work has received support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), The Sundance Institute, HotDocs Forum, Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), and DOK.Incubator. Her short films have screened at major film festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including the Edinburgh International, Mill Valley, and Slamdance. O’Hara holds an MFA in from Stanford University. She is currently in production on a feature documentary about the long-forgotten Tektite Program with Dr. James Merle Thomas.
